Want to learn more about Rise?
Our motivation is to increase daily productivity by removing the need to remind yourself of daily routines or to-dos. We want to help you clear your mind and your calendar, so you can focus on the big-picture!
Rise App reminds you of your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routines for free, without using your data and completely ad-free.
We lose time or get distracted when we suddenly remember something important we lost track of. Everyone has their own way of dealing with this common problem, some have paper notes with lists, others use their calendar to keep track.
But is your calendar really the best place for things you have to do over and over again? Shouldn't your calendar be reserved for events, such as appointments, vacations and so on? These things are real time-blockers that cannot be moved easily, but your routines and daily tasks are more flexible most of the time.
For example, doing a small pre-work-stretching every morning at 7:00am. It's not a blocker, but it's good to be reminded of.

Isn't automation a better solution?
Automation is almost always the best solution, if achievable. But many routines and recurring tasks can't be automated yet. Imagine cleaning your windows or watering your plants.
Often we forget about such tasks, but we still don't want to put them in our calendar, as it artificially bloats it. Those tasks don't necessarily need to be finished at a specific time of the day - so wouldn't it be nice to forget about them and get reminded when they are due?
You need to do your taxes once a year? No problem, just set a reminder that repeats every year on the same date.
